Indoor Woven Furniture
The indoor range comes in either loom or the traditional rattan cane.
Loom is made by layering a special paper many times around a metal frame. It was made famous by a Mr. Lloyd Loom in the early 1900’s.
Cane is taken from the rattan vine which has superseded bamboo, because it is long, slender and supple.
In Loom and Cane, you find the subtle look of age-old designs and natural finishes, adapted by Dickson Avenue to a contemporary setting.
(Wicker, by the way, is not a material at all. It is the process of weaving cane!)
Relax in sumptuously comfortable chairs and lounges and appreciate the way the woven finish is integrated into tables and accessories. As with the outdoor range, it is popular in the home environment and in commercial settings.
This furniture is timeless.
